The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

Today, I’d like to finally setup my home server to backup my pc’s and phones. I run debian 9 on the server, ubuntu on pc’s and android phones. Any suggestions for software? Lightweight and transparent as possible.

Huh?

The source code for Brave on github. The source is built upon electron; which itself is specialty made version of chromium, also developed by GitHub.

Brave has been tweaked, much like how FF Focus is, but with cherry picked features and the wide array of plugins available via the chrome store.

Yeah I prefer linux, but I boot into windows for those games that don’t run on it yet.

40 years from now when everyone runs on linux and were at kernel 20.X I’m sure I’ll be able to play this game natively or something, but I don’t want to wait that long.

Windows + uPlay

Agreed, they just ruin it for everybody. I only have 6 games with them, the other 130 are from Steam.

You mean like a uPlay emulator. Is uPlay connected to servers and needs a constant connection?

Offline mode?

idk. Had it installed a few years ago but uninstalled it after just a few minutes. With Steam and GoG (and other DRM-free games, as few as there are) I don’t need or want another one of those. Both EA and Ubisoft haven’t released any titles since they introduced Origin and uPlay that interested me enough to make me feel dealing with that crap would be worth it.

Fair enough. Uplay honestly isn’t that bad now. Haven’t had an issue with it in a long time.
