The only good thing is used nvidia card pricing is (generally) much better.
Now not so much because mining but if/when its normal again as there’s just so many more of them.

Yes, but they’re used. The reason it’s better than AMD used is because they don’t age well (especially the 700 series… holy hell that was atrocious). When a 270x, a mid-range at best card when it launched 5 years ago, still manages to trade blows with a 950 to the point where in very specific workloads it beats it, is a testament to how well AMD cards age.

Its not even that lol. The drivers on nvidia cards don’t really… Get better other than game specific. However I can still use for example my GTX 465 with the newest drivers (even if they arent super well optimized for fermi) and its fine.
Meanwhile the 58xx and 6xxx series of similar age is basically useless now because of old drivers that barely work at least on win10
GCN though is quite different but still. Different focus for both teams I guess.

Nvidia spends their time on game optomization and quadro drivers while AMD spend their time rewriting their entire drivers every other product release

AMD realized they couldn’t afford to not make a unified architecture so that driver improvements for brand new card A would help older card B And so on.

I think it is from Merchant of Venice but I’m not sure. Do I ever go to look up what it is from? Nope.

Happens to me with lines from movies, shows, anime, etc.
It’s more annoying when it’s like a second from a song that reminds me of another song and I can’t figure out which one for hours.
