Unless I get a new phone or someone else in my family does I probably won’t try anything anytime soon. I’ve been wanting to put lineage on my phone but there’s no official version for my phone and I don’t know how to build my own rom.

Yeah Lineage is great but if you want to get it on your phone your probably better off looking for an unofficial build. You can setup a development environment to build LineageOS fairly easily but would require some work on your end to make it bootable on your phone. They have recently just released Lineage 15.1 which drops support for my LG G5 but I’ve already got the build environment setup so I may see if I can port it over myself but if not I’ll might end up looking for an unofficial build of it.
