Iā€™ll admit this did make me laugh:


There are three Easter egg nods to Alan Wake which I enjoyed.

Interesting fact about Alan Wake: Remedy own the complete IP. However they didnā€™t own the rights to some of the songs in the game, they licensed those and the licenses expired so they had to pull Alan Wake and Alan Wake off the digital market to not violate copyright laws. They are still negotiating with those license holders at this time. They would love to make a sequel but no one is interesting in publishing it and have asked them to do other things. They are working on two games at the moment.

I remember when that happened and the game got pulled from Steam. iirc they had a sale for the game on Steam not too long before it got pulled due to this and I think that was sorta their way of fighting it.

Edit: Looked it up and seems I was right. the game got pulled in May and it was 90% off 11 months ago

Got to give it to them for doing this so people could actually get their hands on it before it got pulled.

There is a built in Free Camera Mode and it is a lot of fun to play with. You have to do some console stuff to get to it but it is a neat little thing. They actually gave Dead End Thrills a custom build of the game just for the purposes of taking screen shots:

So this is neat. Cloudflares new 1.1.1.1 DNS supports DNS over TLS and pfSense has support for it. I may look into setting this up. Iā€™ve had some issues with my current DNS recently and this looks interesting.
