So Iām trying to get my Switch to play media from the sdcard e.g. those not taking with the game capture feature because would be awesome media device but somehow it always knows that the file is foreign and refuses to play it.
I can trick it into listing the file if I rename it with a certain naming convention e.g. 2018010222431100-F1C11A22FAEE3B82F21B330E1B786A39.mp4 the F1C11A22FAEE3B82F21B330E1B786A39 I am pretty sure is id for Zelda but always comes up with an error saying ādata could not be displayedā. I even tried recording a 720p h264 video as mp4 in OBS that is less than 30 seconds which is the limit of the capture on the switch without any success 
WOLFLEBEN RAMBLING ABOUT WRITING:
Iāve had a busy and productive afternoon. Also I realized I really want to change the age of the main characters for two stories.
What brought this about? Well I was over at my parents place and they were watching one of the hunger games moviesā¦ I thought wait two of my stories involve teenagers that eventually become adults I should just have them be adults at the start of of the story. Both stories will still work just some tweaking.
Also it would keep in line with Samās Wasteland Within. Sam is an adult so all my stories will be about twenty something adults. Though one of those adults lives for a very long time.
Also none of my stories are about chosen ones cause those have been done to death.

what is the output encoded as? might not be h.264
The output is encoded as h.264 and matches almost exactly that of a file taken on the switch.

xbox 360 still my favorite controller
i never liked the playstation ones because I never had a playstation and also because it isnt as ergonomic for me. Also the triggers are WRONG lel
i kindof want one of these giant kesywitches but meh, could literally buy a full mechanical keyboard on ebay instead for the same price as one of the giant switches soā¦ yeah

Iām sorta the other way. Iāve used the PlayStation controller way more than the xbox and iām used to it but Iām fine with xbox controllers eitherway.
I just want a big fuck off switch that I can program to do some stuff when I press it.
