Are you sure it can be used as a music/video player? Or just trying to “hack” it?
I can only play videos that were recorded on the switch its self and I’m trying to trick it into playing other videos.

I have a special place in my heart for the Gamecube controller. sucked for Metal Gear Solid but any other game was great for.

I wonder why Nintendo did that. Even the PSP could play mp4 files in a videoplayer app. And play music in a musicplayer app.
I still maintain that one of the best uses for a switch like this is as a ptt switch actuated with your foot.
would be amusing to have it be programmed to be an enter key so you can angrily hit enter on a BIG KEY lol

Not sure, it might be an incoming feature in an update. PS4 didn’t have that functionality at launch either. I just hope it isn’t for “security reasons” to protect it from being cracked.

I would do that but knowing my family somebody will undoubtedly press it and power off the machine.
thats why you use the power led to keep track if its already on and ignore the button
