Update on building custom keyboards;
I have a great source for mechanical switches and keycaps. Can get a box of 400 Gateron switches for ~ $100 and each set of keycaps is around $30. And a few of the PCBs ive found are between $20-40 each. So will be interesting.
Probably going to order the box of switches, 3-4 keycap sets, and 3-4 PCBs next time I get paid and see how building those goes.
Also if anyone here wants one of them ill see how they turn out lol.
Still have to make cases for them though. And probably get a few micro USB cables as well.
But will be fun, the parts for each keyboard will be around $60-90 or so. And then will have to solder(or is it sodder… Whatever lol) it all together and create cases for them. This will be a cool project lol.

Cool. I may be acquiring a couple of ES Xeon e7 4880v2 CPUs, among a couple older ones that are LGA 1366 and some rando AMD ones as well.
For an idea, if i do win that bid, the 4880v2 CPUs are 15core30thread CPUs lol. Which would be fun to play with, even if they are only Ivy Bridge.
Motherboards for them are expensive though so may not use them ever but still.

Works starting to slow down as construction time (aka summer) is ending here. So wooo for more time to post on mobile and stuffs. Hows everybody else doing?

Apart from hurting my arm pretty good. Otherwise am currently messing with qemu and trying to get it to use a physical drive without much success to far. config looks fine so may have to try another drive/installation.
