After several rounds of emails. I’ve determined my video game project will be made using Unity. It’s going to be some time before I have anything to show.

What were your reasons for choosing to use Unity over Unreal for this project?
Well I happen to like both of the Engines. But what cause me to reexamine it all is that Unreal to be brutal is not easy to learn even with the documentation and tutorials. Whereas Unity isn’t as hard to learn. The other reason is cause I scaled down the size of the world I was going to make to one focus more on the story and two allow me to make that world more detailed as a result. I no longer had a need to use Unreal.

thanks for giving me some insight, given the scale Unity looks like a very good choice especially if it can give you more time to focus on whats most important things such as the world and story instead of figuring out how to utilize an engine.

at least its good that you’ll always have a copy of the documentation at hand. Those can get quite heavy though, I remember from installing Visual Studio 2012 I think it was that the documentation for that alone was almost 3 gigabytes.

Mine is probably taking longer cause I also checked the Linux box. So Windows and Linux Documentation for unity… woot:
Why did I click the Linux button?: Cause I’m also a linux user and it would be really odd if I didn’t make it Linux release at the same time.
Side note:
Having the touchpad on ps4 controller act like a mouse for warframe is super handy.

yep the touchpad is honestly one of the best features the PS4 controller has to offer. makes life soo much easier in games when you need to mouse but don’t want to reach for it.

Wooo between @Michael and @dje4321 made a total of a massive 31 cents on my stream today lol. First money ever actually made on the twitch channel tho 
Even if it isnt much its something anyway.
Hopefully I can get streaming more, and start getting subs and more regulars in. Would be really good. Definitely on the way there so.

ReShade Photography Hellblade Livestream is going to happen tomorrow. It will be one hour. Also I’ll post the Preset for Hellblade tomorrow.

I completed an insane hard part of NieR:Automata. I despise that part with a passion cause it took a couple tries.
