so been looking around and ill probably go with the quadro 4000M if i can get a deal around $80-$100. is about twice the speed as the m5950 from the look of things

Probably not all cores. But now that XFR is much better and easier to tune for manual XFR ocing probably single core 4.5ghz on air might be doable
4.3ghz seems to be max OC now on all cores where on 1800X it was 4.1ghz so. Not bad.

yep. the 5010m is double the 4000m but for a extra $100-$200 so might not be worth it. could be if i find one for around $175.
also has double the VRAM so that will be good

4000M is decent value, a 5010m for literally double the price is really not.
Also you more than likely won’t need more than 16Gb of ram realistically (and if you do you can drop the money on high capacity ram which is a much better investment than new mobo is anyway)
Also external GPUs suck at gaming. They are fine if the only thing you do is render things though (I.e. mining, uhhhhhhh… Video editing? Maybe? And stuff like that).
The performance loss is so steep that its usually not a good idea. Even on Thunderbolt which is a direct PCIe connection.

Well they only have this one in stock so far at microcenter but its quite decent so meh?
Then again microcenter isnt exactly known for keeping the website updated so I mean. Ill have to wait and see if the X470 Gaming 5 Wifi from gigabyte that i want is in stock or no.

im not fluent enough in german for that. im really shit at german though i can get the gist if i need too.
I can listen to native German speakers and get most of what they are saying. Same for reading though thats sometimes harder than listening to/watching people talk.
Don’t ask me to try speaking or writing German though lmao… I can do basic stuff but thats about it
