I setup Linux really fast as everything is still where I left it and just work but the reason I like LTSB is because generally it runs much faster and leaner that the standard build and everything else tagged onto it doesn’t get in your way. the experience is sorta similar to Windows 7.
i know. thats why i used them lol. Games still wont launch for shit though.
You are running a legacy card even if it technically kindof isnt because firepro so… Yeah.
(Despite saying its a 7000 series its actually a 6000series but slightly not)
Maybe try doing 7570M drivers not the firepro?
maybe. Appears im not the only one having this issue though.

will probably just wipe everything and restart from windows 7 instead.
Might try to reinstall redists and see if that helps. Wouldnt be surprised if they were just shitting themselves lol
yep its worth a try at least, they do tend to fuck up sometimes
Most of today is waiting to get access from client. Probably be like that all day.
why cant windows be like linux and handle all of this stuff itself
Doing anything in your downtime?
Because Microsoft and their all encompassing bloated system.
In my mind, yes. Working out what to write next. Also where I’m at in Warframe and what I need to do. Also review the most recent episode of Westworld to see if I can figure out where it is going.
lmao yes doesn’t happen for me too often but is a surprise when it goes. TierZoo is fucking great though.
So my mouse is slowly dying a horrible death and its getting worse by the day. can’t even drag my mouse anymore to copy and paste anything
is your buttons dying or is it not tracking anymore?
the left click is dying, if I drag it will do another click half a second later and cancels the drag.
oh. thats a easy fix. Just the spring inside the button is worn out.
neat seems simple though looks like I’ll be taking my mouse apart then.
if your feeling brave you can heat the spring up to after bending it back to remove the work hardening but can be dangerous because you can get copper oxide on it. this will prevent it from making electrical contact.
Not necessary but will make the spring much more malleable and slow down the wearing process a fair bit
work harding is why a paper clip breaks after moving it back and forth for a bit. imagine the spring contantly moving little by little. This means it will help reduce wear
well I’m brave enough to try anything and if it’ll improve the wearing process I might as well give it a go.
