how so?
that would be your problem
how so?
that would be your problem
its in two separate pieces
yes
so time to order a new mouse?
Probably, either that a try and solder another switch onto it but its the TS mouse and also has some tracking issues so I may just get another mouse.
could use it as a practice mouse for surgery XD. I can take a few times to get it right since its a bitch getting the spring back on
yep is very fiddly but this does have 8 buttons so should be enough for me to get good practice on it. Now I need to find a new mouse that i like which is the hard part.
ive never used a mouse besides some cheap $10 walmart mice so your on your own with this one XD
Pretty sure im gonna go with win7 ultimate. Windows 10 does NOT like my laptop at all and i dont want to put up with the fight right now. If windows 7 works than cool. if not then well fuck
this is the most expensive mouse Iāve had, before this one I used a Microsoft Basic Optical mouse that I got in a pack of three for Ā£15. they werenāt too bad either and Iām going to have to use one now until I get a new mouse.
yep totally not worth it fighting with 10 when it doesnāt work, also and since 10 isnāt officially supported 7 stands a way better chance of being fine.
Linus made a video on the history of the Model M. I still kinda want a Model M or possibly a Unicomp sometime.
inb4 @Cavemanthe0ne is triggered it isnāt a Model F.
i mean the model m is shit lol
ah yes there it is XD
so this laptop is being WEIRD.
the screen keeps doing a flickery thing almost like its a few ms behind vblank. Gave me a massive headache. Thankfully it stopped
Cpu was having a issue of being on a battery and never clocking above 700Mhz. Seems to be mostly good.
resetting the bios also seems to help
Gonna install GPU-Z and CPU-Z and watch them closey for a little while
that sucks, hopefully its just being quirky and its nothing too serious
i hope thats the case too. i can somewhat deal with the CPU issue but the screen flickering thing is what would kill this laptop for me
if its running at 59hz not 60hz that might be it
(or whatever that isnt 60hz)
yep could it maybe that the cable for the display isnāt connecting properly or something?
checked that. was running at 60(p)Hz
is not software though. was doing it at the HP screen when it first turns on, in the bios, linux, windows, grub, etc.
no idea. seems to be fixed now. wouldnt be surprised if it was because of sleep mode. my mac does the same thing on linux but it will correct itself after a few seconds
