installing programs in the background, creating desktop shortcuts, messing with the GPO, adding things to startup and maybe some other things. Dont really know. didnt look at it too hard lol

damn that thing was really putting the work in, haven’t had any malware like that in years.
ye. after rebooting audio started to play in the background because of unkillable processes
so It wasn’t exactly taking the subtle approch then? the last malware I had that messed with stuff like that was one of those porn popups things the blasted you on startup.

lel yeah to me seems like one of those hacked together malwares that just takes all the expolits and packs them into a payload to offload quickly on a system to overwhelm it and see what sticks.

In other news. I guess tomorrow is free comic book day (which is a thing it would seem, I didn’t really know that but its cool I guess?) and I might go to some of the local comic book/gaming stores because why not.
Also may be doing DnD at some point here. Might not though will have to see. Real board game DnD not any online games

I’m going to be at the movie theater at 9:45 AM seeing the New Avengers so I don’t have to worry about browsing the web safely to avoid spoilers. The Film will actually start at 10:00 AM because 15 minutes of trailers. Film is 2 hours 40 minutes. which means I’ll get out in time for lunch. I’m going to get a steak burrito.
I haven’t seen a trailer for the film at all. I’m going in cold. Judgement will be rendered after viewing.

So it looks like h264 video on Fedora 28 doesn’t work in Firefox anymore. I have the required packages and playback is fine but Firefox just says nope so I’m unable to watch video streams anymore 
hmm. You could install chrome just for now.
