Hmm… That may work.
I could just set the search for news save for a bookmark for each of a few pharses. I’ll give it go and set if it works for how I traverse the news.

LAN Warframe RIG Report:
So the PC Crashed after playing for about 1 hour and 30 minutesish.
I beleve the issue is one of two things:
Heat
or a power isssue maybe?

Why Heat:
The CPU is use the stock cooler. I went into the bios after the crash and set it to full.

Why Power:
The GPU recommends 750 watt PSU.

Mine is only a 600 watt PSU.

This is the LAN rig:

What can I do to fix this? Buy a Power Supply and CPU Fan.

Which would be this:

I’m trying the run the CPU fan at 100 percent first and updating the machine. I can’t really afford to get new parts right now, and the new laptop will come first. I’ll limit my warframe time on this rig to just 1 hour for now.

I’m not sure if its possible on that platform but you could try downclocking and undervolting the CPU/GPU. This will not only decrease power but also heat which could help the CPU espeically from overheating.

More than likely just the CPU cooler. As I was able to run an 1800X, a 390 and 390X in Xfire, and a bunch of SSD/HDDs all on a 750W PSU (granted it was a Corsiar AX series so high end PSU, but still) so 600 watts should be more than plenty for your system

Yeah. That is my thinking. Getting a better cooler is cheaper than getting a beefer PSU.

TBH i think your PSU was overloaded. the GPU is drawing 45A out of the 50A the PSU can supply on the 12V and that does not include anything else

Though check temps with something first as a good PSU can be expensive

Will it crash?, probably not but my cpu is not happy on the LAN rig:

So I was bored and thought I’d do terrible things to my computer and try and game both in Linux and Windows at the same time and it actually works quite well but instantly found out I don’t have enough memory todo it and my system froze :frowning:
