Wise move, when I first installed Solus it had all sorts of weird bugs with updating that went away after reinstalling it.

yes that would be a good sign, not sure what is up with Solus and updating because it works fine most of the time but others it just messes everything up.

Woot. Got an interview for being Ground Crew for a helicopter place, also might be doing an oil job instead but they havent called back yet where the above job has set up an interview so.
In other news ive been mostly looking for jobs, streaming, gaming, or being lazy lately lol… Funny that the only way I was abke to get time off from my old job was to quit said job

The LAN rig problem :
Not a temperature problem.
The GPU plus the power supply are the problem.
The solution:
Remember this will come after the laptop is bought.
I’ll take the GPU out of the LAN rig and put it into a new build rig that will just for Warframe and writing.
I’ll post the build parts when I get home from work. I’ll be designing it during lunch.

. the math simply didnt add up though i wish manufacturers would put tech specs in it like current draw at idle/max, pcie power draw, etc because that makes it much easier
Could also undervolt your cpu some as that can help out a fair bit. could get you withing margin of the PSUs power. also turn off anything RGB as that tends to draw a fair bit of power

What @Dje4321 said but also; did you make sure the APU and GPU drivers are not fighting each other? Can happen sometimes because … windows lol.
I have my 2400G and turned off the vega GPU in it when running a dGPU because otherwise they conflict with each other.
Just a random idea … I don’t remember if you mentioned it or not so.
