Still annoying? Because inb4 hairworks lol. Otherwise its mostly whatever.
@Michael lol. At least its 60FPS sometimes now. That said I still have my Xbox 360 around… If only just because I am too cheap to rebuy the games I have for it on PC lol… Still. Would likely keep it regardless because For a Horizon 1 but thats besides the point
I just find it somewhat assuming that they were going hard on how the Xbox One is the best place to play it with ALL AMD HARDWARE and then Nvidia gets the PC sponsor XD
thinking about going barebones to maybe help with some of your power usuage issues or just want something more lightweight in general? I never tried antergoes but straight arch was fun to build its just getting it there and not so bad after its all setup.
Ive decided on antergoes because ive done the arch method before and i just dont prefer it.
Just want something lightweight in general. Not doing any gaming or anything in linux so i dont need anything super crazy. Will mostly be in linux for day-to-day activities like watching youtube, programming, etc.
My only problem with the arch method is if something breaks and I have to reinstall that is going to be a huge pain in the ass to set back up again. I may try it again sometime but not on a main system I use daily for that reason. for example VFIO support on arch is great but no way would I want to deal with having todo any of that again if it breaks when its so easy on Fedora.
fair enough, arch seems like a really good choice for that. Is sorta crazy how much more lean it can get though, my arch install was using around 200M of memory with nothing running which is insane compared to how much Fedora does.
nice i3 would be great for a lightweight system, could set it up exactly how you like it with no bloat. So you deciding to go chromium over firefox now?
yeah true, i mean I woulnd’t be using Firefox now if I nether switched from chromium and gave it a chance, sort of the opposite I guess, still use chromium quite a bit though for those times when firefox doesn’t work.
Yeah I want to do that sometime and have a file say for all application hotkeys, one for audio stuff, workspaces etc but never got around to it. you can also make workspace templates so certain workspaces will setup in an exact configuration and splits the tiles for applications whenever they launch which I still want todo but never got it working right.
