Yea is really strange, this just happened when I tried to open Firefox which is similar to what happened on windows. I hope the GPU isn’t going out or something.

yep that is what I was afraid of, welp there goes another laptop I guess

maybe I’ll have to try and fix my other one now.

Is that the one with ripped up pads? If so then good luck. Not a fun fix even when you know what your doing lol

yep that either that or buy a whole new laptop which I can’t afford right now, I’d like the challenge of trying to fix it though but maybe I could just buy a mainboard for it if I can find one and replace the working parts.

Not saying your cant fix it but your pretty much gonna need a microscope and some patch wire because your gonna have to run some traces by hand.

yep and by the look of it was more than just a couple of traces, I’d still try it though because I have nothing to lose at this point, just have to find a microscope good enough that isn’t expensive as fuck and practice my soldering a lot.

nice it looks pretty good, you gonna change anything about your config or keep it mostly vanilla i3? If you did one thing I would suggest is maybe replacing dmenu with rofi as the application launcher, it is much nicer to work with and lets you do stuff like search for and switch to applications on different workspaces from the menu which helps when you’ve got loads of stuff open.

gonna give it a look

So last night I bought a PS4 with Bloodbourne at Walmart.

Bloodbourne is a great game and I want to play it again sometime but had soo many framerate issues with it where the fps would tank in the middle of combat which almost always lead to my death.
