The customer service person sounded more like a robot this time. Like, lots of copypasta responses (customer’s satisfaction blablabla joyful shopping experience yadda yadda).
And it won’t be fixed until they change their source.
220€ headphones aren’t Sennheiser Orpheus, but to me it’s still a fuckload of money. I don’t expect them to be delivered by an AKG employee and opened with white gloves for me. But it shouldn’t look like someone just threw everything in the box. At least get the fucking slipcase on the right direction, ffs.
Meanwhile just got a humidor and some bovedas for it for $70 on Amazon because was a great deal and had gift cards sooo.
Mainly though because gift cards. Not because Amazon.
Tbh the only reason I use it is for movies, and my family does wishlist stuff on it for birthdays and stuff like that
Otherwise I probably wouldn’t
Oh also because books for college are sometimes cheap on Amazon but in not in college atm so
So far IF there was an issue Amazon solved it.
This is the first time they fucked up this hard cause so many times in a row.
If it’s their supplier’s fault I doubt pair nr.4 will be any different.
My thoughts exactly, its a $300 motherboard and going from the marketing NZXT are focusing on aesthetics with this more than anything else which concerns me. The product page doesn’t even have any specifications at all and mostly goes into how it looks.
kek I can’t fault its look, I’m just concerned because manufacturing a motherboard compared to say a case is a completely different story and could brings up all sorts of issues for NZXT.
Oh, and I already got a reply from AKG’s outsourced customer service. They basically confirmed what @Cavemanthe0ne said. But it should 99% of the time be sealed in plastic.
But… Wouldnt it be cheaper to… Use a 3dprinter and also a decent $139-170 motherboard instead… And just 3dprint the thing to look the same…
I mean that all it really is. And its expensive because NZXT and modular aesthetics
It certainly will be interesting for some people who own an NZXT case or are planing on buying one in the near future and immensely care about aesthetics.
I’m just confused that that is something someone would want a mobo to look like lol
At least it comes in more than just beige though so thats a plus over literally every old computer ever
I’m going to gues it will be an OK mobo @Dje4321 but I’m not so sure $300 is a good price for it. Yes it has modular aesthetics but its not like that magically adds $150? Then again it could be a good ocer or something so. Will see.
Yep, if you are into the NZXT ecosystem and already have the case etc this would make perfect sense. kinda want to see a custom loop build with this motherboard in an NZXT case because it would probably look amazing.
I’m still waiting for specs and reviews until I fully decide on it. who knows, maybe they’ve made a bitching motherboard that overclock well but them being not up front about the specs concerns me a lot.
