The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

Not sure on micro.
USB type C has some badass custom cables though  I have one that is well made that’s lasted me a full year as my main type C charging cable with no sign of breaking anytime soon. Oddly enough came with the 60% keyboard PCB I bought a while back but by itself usually is $5-15 depending on where you get it.

Have you tried braided ones?
Or where exactly do they break? If it’s right after the connector housing then you could put a spring there to lessen the strain from bending.

Only had a few micro USB cables break on me. They were either the ones that came with a Samsung phone or the one that ships with Kindles (while conveniently long, it’s thin and the cable sleeve comes out of the connector housing after a while and puts all the strain from bending on the wires until they break).

Find them to be just as bad

Kinda everywhere. They just become reliable and i cant find a way to see where exactly its broken at

idk what would be best for your situation then. Don’t know of any specific brand that makes durable cables. So it’s probably either lots of really really cheap ones or trying to find good quality by trial & error.

also: try to use them for their intended purpose only. they’re not meant to be emergency belts, whips for kinky stuff, leashes, jumping ropes, etc.

During summer even the heat from my 2nd monitor was noticeable and I avoided transcoding videos due to the CPU getting a cozy 70°C.
I guess now I’ll let the PC running more over night…

So Nvidia have now de-listed the 2080 Ti cards from their store. I’m curious whether this is just a mistake or if the failure rates are worse than expected and they pulling the cards now to look into it as it sorta goes against their previous official statement on the matter.

How interesting.

With Nvidia pulling their own cards they must know something is wrong, I were an AIB partner with a large stock of 2080 Tis my butt cheeks would be flapping right about now.

But…but…according to GamersNexus’ sources at the AiB partners the RMA rates are normal? Those sources wouldn’t lie, would they? Companies lying? No way.

Maybe, I don’t have any major reason to doubt those numbers but maybe this could be a bigger issue than previously thought that could affect the next or the current cards being allocated to board partners? or it could just be that Nvidia found that their own founders edition cards are more susceptible to these issues as they are the only one who hasn’t released RMA numbers.

I’m doing research into an odd thought… well thought experiment. What would I need to do to leave the United States of America permanently? Let me state this is not political. Just me looking at my carrier path and what I want to do, where I’d like to be when I retire. It is going to bit before and if I act on this. I’ll keep you guys in the loop.

I love that he refuses to review the RX 590 but had no problems doing a full review of the 9980XE despite the exact same complaints about both.

there is that.
semi related:
also makes sense why so many companies are only doing reduxes of old games rather than make new ones, less risk that way and minimal cost to make more money.
looks at blizzard, among others

And remakes/reboots of films/television.

Well yes. But with those at least it is new content even if it’s the same concept as the old series. So it’s
… Sometimes not as bad.
