The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

My access point is ticking…probably not good (no mechanical parts, afaik).

:stuck_out_tongue:

It’s ---- now.

That is strange, they are showing up fine for me in that example, maybe its something on your browsers end?

your correct it has no mechanical parts and shouldn’t make a sound. it possibly could be a whine from the inductors though, I’ve seen this happen a fair bit on access points before.

iirc its always been --- or at least that is what I’ve always used for it.

Could be. I’m using chrome so maybe that is the issue.

On mobile chrome they show up but are tiny, if on a desktop they might just seem invisible because of being small.

its possible, could try a different browser to be sure or clear the cache for the forum and see if that fixes it.

A quick search and some topics on the Ubiquiti forums later shows that Ubiquiti recommends sending those back for RMA. I already managed to get a replacement approved by Amazon.

Can confirm chrome is the issue. Just tested in firefox. Firefox shows the lines.

Plot twist… not chrome. It’s the Red Theme.

Changed to dark theme can see the lines now.

hmm wouldn’t have expected that since that theme hasn’t been changed recently. I’ll take a look at it and see if i can find out why.

I can still see the line even when i change the the red theme. maybe the act to changing the theme reset whatever was broken and it might be fixed moving back to the red one?

Can confirm that. Look at us exploring a minor strange occurrence and solving it.

did you use red
or red theme
because red is the default
and red theme i made

yep but we got there in the end and it fixed now is the main thing.

I tried both, the only difference for the line between the two is that in the Red Theme its red and not grey.

Film news:
There is a Ghostbuster film coming out in 2020. It has nothing to do with the last one. Instead it is suppose to be a sequel to the original series.

There is a teaser for it:

That is an 80’s trailer if I ever saw one. Hell it reminds of the original Evil Dead II trailer in a way and that isn’t a bad thing. In that it gives nothing away. The music, the atmosphere, the lighting all fit the original Ghostbusters. Yeah this looks promising. Wait and see. The fact the ECTO 1 is in a barn has me thinking this takes place way after Ghostbuster II.

The director is Jason Reitman son of the original director.

@Dje4321 @Michael y’all pretty fond of the Switch. What games besides BotW are you enjoying/looking forward to?

(@Main_Main not you, you have shit taste…not even playing Bayonetta…AND YOU OWN IT!!!)

Going to one of my neighbors today. She told me her laptop doesn’t work and without even knowing what exactly is wrong with it I’ll probably end up telling her to get a new one. The top row of letters doesn’t work properly (like, have to really press them hard a few times until they register) and it’s pretty old altogether and just a cheapo “office/browsing” tier machine. Gonna ask what she’s willing to spend and then look up some laptops that aren’t shit she can just go and buy.

How’s everyone doing?
