Idk, they aren’t bad, not that they are awesome. I personally don’t like the Witcher series, but I still haven’t tried Witcher 3 yet (but I doubt my opinion will change much).
And it’s sad when just not being bad, makes you the “best” lol

Only played the first. Gameplay was kinda meh, story okay. Hasn’t aged well, though - imo.
The “you’re free to bang any wench you want” aspect is annoying.
Yeah, when “not being a greedy scumbag company” catapults you to the top, something is definitely wrong in the industry,
Remember when WB tried to cash in on one of their devs dying? The charity where actually not 100% went to charity?
Meanwhile there are small indie devs who put their heart into their projects, don’t charge insane price for incomplete games and still add content. And in case of Team Cherry (Hollow Knight) they helped me with a controller issue in their game in basically no time even though it was a Windows driver thing (2 different sets of drivers to manually download and only one works - no explanation which one is for which).
Rather have fun over performance. Never had any issues unless there was alot going on

that plus battery life and 720p is more than enough given the Switches screen size, higher would actually be detrimental in so many ways.

While graphics aren’t everything and 4k is still not mainstream, a lot of games have not aged well and are terrible to look at. Especially from the early 3D era.
And in terms of res I think the Switch has the highest among dedicated gaming handhelds so far.

Yeah, the oldest 3d games I’ll play are ps1 games. Anything earlier is just offensively bad to my eyes.

I used to have an old mac… like OS5 or something. played this game called A-10 Cuba on it. Ran at probably 3fps if that. 10/10 would fly again.
