Well the stock pump is out of production, and it’s replacement is too. Oh well. Got this instead which requires some work to install because old one was mechanical and this is electric, but still it’s 38gph vs the 30 of the stock one. Hopefully the shop can do that simply ( in theory, it’s just wiring it to something only on when the car is, and the rest is universal but I’ll see.)

So…what’s the gist of this?
I’ve seen headlines clearly stating he resigned because media cracked down on him for defending Epstein while others say he was misquoted and didn’t defend him. Then there are some who claim he defended pedophilia on his blog for years (this allegation comes from 4chan, though, so who knows).
I only know Stallman as the gross gahnoo slash leenux guy who picks his toes. A well known name in the world of programming but not the best image.
This is the article that started it. He made remarks in an MIT mailing list about sexual assault and rape and one of the students picked it up and sent it to their friend who later published it and the whole thing blowup from there.
Seems like he talks/writes a lot before thinking about it.
I’m not defending him by any means but sometimes sentences can be taken out of context.
For example:
he also said,
“I think it is morally absurd to define “rape” in a way that depends on minor details such as which country it was in or whether the victim was 18 years old or 17.”
in response to a student who said “Giuffre [the victim who testified] was 17 at the time, this makes it rape [ sic ] in the virgin islands” .
Again, this mailing list has undergraduate students on it. It is likely some of them are “18 years old or 17”.
I see nothing wrong with his statement other than a poor choice of words (like minor details when talking about rape, as it sounds belittling). The age and country are irrelevant. Rape is rape. Doesn’t matter if the victim was 9 or 45 or if it happened in the Arctic or in the middle of Time Square during rush hour. Rape is rape.
Maybe he meant it in the opposite way, that it doesn’t count as rape cause in other countries the legal age is lower. But that only goes to show how a quote in the middle of an article can be colored either way.

I’m very much liking this new UI, it gives a lot more information than before with the activity feed, content and everything.
Also like that games can tailor their page now for events with banner and such like the CSGO page which has a banner for the live broadcast at the Berlin major which is neat.
I’m not ye too sure how I feel about this, it is similar in vein to how Sony does it on the PS4 with the community content had it is mostly just an overlay for the Community Hub and it is good to see whats going on in the community but I get what your saying in that some maybe not quite SFW content can be found on there especially for clicker game and such.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. what you’re referring to as GNU, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. GNU is not an operating system unto itself and is made possible by the underline Linux kernel but rather another free component made of the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
