Why is it so foggy? I don’t remember that area being foggy.
Also, you should’ve made a warlock. Those can summon succubi

lel neat. haven’t decided what I want to do yet. trying stuff out first.
iirc there is a test server with 10x leveling for you to try things out in
nice might hop on that and check stuff out.
just dont expect your character to last as its a test server and its reset fairly often
ofc I don’t intend to actually play on a test server XD
They want to keep as many people playing as possible. High system requirements would keep a lot of people from playing.
It’s also not very optimized (high clock single core performance preferred, needs a lot of power from both AMD and Nvidia to run 60fps at the highest settings, even at 1080p - and the more players near you the more your fps will drop).
i know how the system requirements are. my dad played wow on a $300 laptop that struggled to even load firefox sometimes.
At least Blizzard implemented separate graphics settings for raids. Even high end GPUs will struggle there on higher settings. And since Blizzard keeps updating spell and ability animations that look more fancy, it’ll get only harder to run it at high fps.
see im one of the weird people who prefer games to run vsync’d consistently than too have nice looking graphics. would rather run a game at 720p low to get 60fps then 1080p ultra to get 45
You you say that the issue WoW has is that the engine was never meant to deal with all these new fancy animations and graphics that they keep tacting on it and is why its so un-optimized? imo blizzard should’ve really completely redesigned the entire game from the ground up.
I’m mostly the same, I care about fps than looks. try to aim for 60 at least on the best resolution and settings I can get.
ill turn down settings if it deeps down a little.
Ultra is poop anyway. But WoW is just utterly unoptimized. It doesn’t look bad but you shouldn’t need a 1080 Ti to run it at stable 60fps 1080p on setting 8.
My fps dipped a lot in Suramar (even below 30 occasionally), but everywhere else in Legion they were somewhat fine (55-60fps).
I can mostly handle it if it dips to say mid-high 50s sometimes but if it starts hitting 50 or below consistently I’d turn that way down.
i cant even handle mid fifty’s
I’m glad it is the weekend and I don’t have to ever work Saturday or Sunday. Also nearing my 1 year with the firm I now work for.
lel yeah I’m talking like once couple of hours or so or in a very specific area and it rarely ever happens.
Yup, they failed to port it over to a newer engine. Now it’s too late.
figured that was the case. ArenaNet did this with GuildWars2 and it really paid off. That game runs like a champ even on fairly poor hardware and still looks great.
I guess WoW is just too big.
Their only advantage is that the simple graphics style allows the game to look good on all hardware within the specs.
And I just hit the 37h awake mark.
