Thanks. I’ll see what she thinks of it and get back to you.
this is a strangely intriguing coin
it`s not mineable persay but it … gains interest?
https://www.reddit.com/r/NavCoin
so if you buy Navcoin and put it into your wallet, it sits in your wallet and because it’s proof of stake not proof of work, grows by 5% a year

seems interesting i guess?
Isn’t a terrible idea and could be interesting. I might have to keep an eye on it. iirc wasn’t Etherium doing a hard fork to a PoS based system as well?
On linux front. Back to using openSUSE but I’m using it with LXQt desktop environment:
The Desktop Environment is very light and flexible. I love being able to play with openSUSE again. Partly cause it is easy to play with and tweak to how I want to use linux.
honestly no idea have not been paying a lot of attention, that one just randomly popped up so decided to look at it. seems interesting enough.
neat. I haven’t really used openSUSE very much. How do you find LXQt is compared to LXDE? I’ve used LXDE a lot on lightweight systems and really like it but haven’t really looked into LXQt yet. Right now I’m using i3 on Fedora 27 with mostly gnome apps. I do want to try different DEs though. I tried KDE not long ago but it had some issues when not in a native KDE environment like I was with i3 so I might need to give something like LXQt a try some time.
They’ve talked about it before but as far as I know information on it is scarce and I believe there isn’t a timeframe for when it’ll happen yet.
this steemit thing is also quite interesting
(its also what d.tube is linked to)
it’s like a strangely nice mix of twitter and a few other sites that have like/reshare options
but also has a blog page and you can link it to the above mentioned d.tube
but the entire idea is it’s a site that directly rewards users (both content creators and followers) for sharing/liking/watching posts. 75% of the profit to the content creator, 25% to the users that share it. And the most interesting is that the whole thing is backed by STEEM which is a non-mineable coin, you can only get it from being on steemit and being an active user on the site.
that`s just the TL:DR as theres more to it but still very intriguing way of doing things
i just mentioned it as I put the forum address as my “website” for it lol
also as it’s set up currently you get the unfiltered internet which could be good or bad not sure
because of this theres all kinds of amusing things on here like movies, esoteric videos, stoner stuff @Dje4321 and a whole random selection of literally anything ever
also for some reason lots of german videos
There is stoner stuff everwhere
Well yes but usually not stuff like “how to make hashish” xD
Also may have just watched wonder woman and blade runner 2049 on it for free. Pretty good qaulity ones too
I could show people how to make brownies
Will they be super yummy brownies
you wont be able to stop eating them
I could go for some brownies and cookies right now. I don’t think the clients would like that too much though… well some of them might
Wow you must make some good brownies
Actually I kinda want some brownies now. they won’t be special though
Who said you needed money as payment? I sure arrangements could be made
Like a computer to look up other arrangements lel
On the earlier topic though the fact that d.tube and steemit is literally unfiltered everything is actually really nice but also annoying at times. That said because its like twitter you can follow people that do actually useful or interesting things so that’s nice.
There is some strange stuff tho lol
Well this is the internet after all
well the whole being paid to share everything kinda encourages that.
Theres stuff on there that you sometimes dont find on the internet lol because reasons
It being a peer to peer network based on STEEM blockchain network people share things you just wont find unless its on other p2p networks
Also yes @Michael
