My steam library is 2TB, and it takes like a week to download.
lol. it would take me about a month to download that XD.
Which is why I pay $100 for 100. Definitely a ripoff, but if I donât the next tier is 50 for $80.
lol. we pay $10 for 10/1 but the next tier is $50 for 5/1 XD
That doesnât even make any mathematical sense.
since we have kids in school our ISP gives us âfastâ and âreliableâ internet at a low cost since its basically (not really) required these days to have internet for school work.
With my internet speed, it would take me 3 days nonstop. Well initially, the mmos would probably push it to five.
South Carolina Named 5th Worst State to Live In
well no shit I couldâve told them that.
where did you get this metric?
South Carolina is my original home state. Charleston was nice. Myrtle Beach, you couldnât pay me to live there ever.
from a click-baity facebook article. Saved you all the trouble.
I read it, and it seems worth its salt actually.
the one i found is #6 so its not that far off
Charleston is great if youâre a tourist, terrible is you live there.
knew it
funny enough its the republican states that rank the lowest XD
supposively, a bunch of businesses were supposed to move here. And some did. The only problem is there isnât enough educated workers to fulfill the jobs; so they carried on.
Ma and pa shops are mostly dead/hemorrhaging here since the majority population in some counties is in poverty.
Those that get a good education, leave to work somewhere else.
I canât find a job as a junior web developer here; I will have to move.
our state is getting to that point. Our governor keeps cutting taxes to the point where some schools are shutting down or requiring students to bring stuff like toilet paper and tissues in. My high school of around 2k students has 6 janitors.
you should probably move anyway.
On glassdoor, the only job within 200 miles of me was for a senior position at a university who wanted a master at the minimum PHD preferred, and no less than 10 years of industry experience.
It was on that day that I realized I must at least get a bachelors, and then network to find a position. There days where programming jobs were low-hanging fruit for anyone intellectually capable enough are gone.
trust me i know your pain. A computer repair shop near me wanted a bachelors in computer science along with a A+ cert to just inspect the computers. I wouldnt even be the one repairing them. I would just provide a basic outline of what was wrong before handing it to a technician.
