Warframe news:
Servers Still getting DDOSED.

Writing news:
I’ve figuredd out what I want to do for the twist for a later. Granted I still have to write the chapters leading up to it. I think I mentioned this before but I have a 30 pages outline that I’m using to writing the story for book 1 of the series. The 30 page outline covers about 1200 years of the main characters life. Mostly covering the major events. It is fun to write.

see if you can hit 50

Maybe, maybe not. Will see.

Saw a 1070 ti non reference for $515 … Must not buy yet. Have to get things shipped first. And by then prices will likely be even lower… But damn that’s getting tempting

I’ll be recording more b roll for the Debian Video today.

Warframe Servers are still being DDOSED.

The Warframe community is of course sad and upset. Also super understanding. They know it isn’t Digital Extremes fault. DE is doing their best right now.

On a different note I’ve started the research phase for getting a new laptop that I plan to get in December.

I’d be installing Debian on it. Things it has to have 8 GIGs of RAM and decent battery life. November will be the research kicks into high gear and I narrow things down.

The XPS 13 would meet those requirements just fine. iirc dell even sells a linux version

paypal invoicing is amazing
only 3% fees for full buyer/seller protection and USPS mail discounts as well.

never using ebay for selling again lol, screw that 20-30% fees noise

Didn’t Ebay sell Paypal some time ago?
Seems like a mistake.

On the Laptop Research side. I spoke with the Dell Developer Costumer service. I got it confirmed that Debian will indeed work with the Developer Edition of XPS 13. I just have to install Debian myself which I can definitely do. Now it’s just a matter of time.

You mean in terms of full functionality out of the box without tinkering? (hotkeys, drivers, etc)

yes. the linux version of the XPS 13 is 100% compatible with open source drivers?

The only tinkering I’ll have to so will be installing the wi fi drivers which isn’t too hard now that I know how to do it.
