Well I use my OCD or as I call it Need to stay organized, in my job. In fact it allows me to catch the errors Iām suppose at work. For what I do attention to detail and staying organized is absolute because money is on the line.
Edit: Also came in handy for beta an alpha testing. Also handy for testing for REDACTEDās REDACTED.

There is a fair bit of difference between OCD and staying organized.
Lets take exhibit A for example. OCD would be if you organized the cereal by color and if one of the boxes were out of order then all you could think about is moving boxes back into order.

Welp swapping the i7 into my laptop didnāt work, I had to remove my power mod to work on the board and now I canāt even power it on anymore by shorting the pins

not yet gonna try that next, although I thought it would at least power cycle even if the cpu wasnāt supported.

it probably uses a different chipset so i doubt it would even power cycle

yeah your probably right, gonna swap it now and hopefully it works again.
Thing is I do have it. Not for cereal though anymore. I have to check my locks, Iām also dividing numbers by two through out the day to see if they can get to 1 or not. I use to be a lot worse.

yep put the i3 back in and it powered straight on. Seems the i7 just isnāt compatible which is hardly surprising since it is a newer chip than the current one.

That good atleast. Wouldnt be surprised if it wouldnt turn on due to power limitations

yep seems very likely, i7 has a much higher tdp than the i3 and these boards never had anything other than i3s in them anyway so I doubt Dell put in the power delivery to support that.
so looking on ebay I can get an i5 with the same architecture and is exactly the same as my i3 except it turbos up to 2.80GHz and has slightly better onboard graphics for Ā£25 shipped.

yep the cpu isnāt great and if I can extend its life further with new one why not. Just found an i5-430M for Ā£10 within the UK so seriously considering it now

well it is GoT so wouldnāt really be surprised it if it was real XD
yep is pretty much exactly the same chip in every way except for the higher turbo. can even get an i7 that goes up to 3.33GHz with the same TDP as well.
